Sounds like a great idea. The problem is a pickup truck frame may not
be strong enough to handle such loads. Many years ago I worked at a
truck shop- we built trailers and put the boxes on bare truck frames to
make the vans you see on the road.

Somebody brought in a pickup truck and asked us to make a dumper out of
it. My boss figured it out, got the components and the shop built it.
It was cool. The owner loved it. A few weeks late he brought it back.
He had it loaded with something heavy. When he tried to dump that
load the hydraulics moved but instead of raising the dump body the
frame of the truck just bent down- boy, did we laugh when we saw that
truck. It looked like a sway back horse.
